That’s a Healthy Start For The Day #1
Here are two examples I use towards a healthy start for the day which includes nutritious and wholesome foods to give me just the jump start I need.
One morning can be a full of flavor and richness in a simple bowl of oatmeal.
- Cooked Whole Rolled Oats in Coconut Milk with a teaspoon of cocoa powder
- A sprinkle of Cinnamon, Pumpkin Seeds, Chia Seeds, and Pecans
- 1/2 a sliced banana pieces
- A Tablespoon Almond Butter
On another morning, it’s some eggs whites with gluten free toast with a dash of honey and cinnamon.
- A dash of all season, garlic, oregano, and red chili peppers, and dill seasonings, a sprinkle of chopped orange bell pepper, and a tablespoon of vegan butter
- Seasonings above mixed into 1/2 cup Cage free egg whites and cooked in MCT Oil
- A little chopped cilantro
- Rudi’s Gluten Free Toast with a splash of MCT Oil, 2 tablespoons of local honey, and dash of cinnamon
- A glass of 100% Pomegranate juice
I love to get those veggies and herbs in when I can even if it’s just a sprinkle here and there. In this case, it was a little cilantro and the orange bell peppers. They help spice things up a bit.
