Trip to Hawaii

I went on this trip to Hawaii 4 years ago and I thought it would be neat to share some of the photos and video of our incredible experience. Also, being that my life has taken on a new perspective, to incorporate blogging full time, I needed to remind myself of the value I myself possess. My wife and I had always wanted to go to Hawaii, but deferred to other much cheaper tropical islands because Hawaii was way too expensive for our budget. Lo and behold though, being willing to listen, process, and act on new information on what was possible finally got us to Hawaii in the flesh.

I Heard Opportunity Calling

I’m so glad I was open to hearing the content on a podcast that presented this as an opportunity for people to do successfully themselves. I didn’t shut it down because I had limiting beliefs around my financial acumen and ability to understand and manage credit well without getting into debt. What a valuable tool this has been for my wife and I in this human experience journey! I just figured I’d read the information and find out if it works for me or not. I reached out to its creators when I got stuck and had questions and they were more than gracious to answer. Next thing you know, we have the points/miles needed and are preparing for an award travel expensed trip to Hawaii.

Our airport experience were plush laid back lounges for us to get a bite to eat and alcoholic beverages to ease and relax us as we reclined, napped, or surfed internet on free WiFi. All the while taking in the surrealness of this being our first real major award travel trip, abroad, and to a dream destination of ours since 2010.

In Closing

This iMovie is of my wife and I in and around Honolulu and Maui. This trip was paid for predominantly with points and miles. There was very little cash outlay from us. We had a fantastic time, in addition, I was able to reconnect with an old friend from my hometown whom I met while in the Army. This was a dream come true only to be followed up by other trips as grand as this one. I previously wrote about this experience in the below post to give context of how it became possible.
